My first mixer was a Radio Shack unit. My decks were straight out of coastal thrift stores. I built them from parts I mined from different collected turntables. I’ve started collecting LPs in the eighties. Rock & roll changed my life! We'd go to 'The Greek' in Berkeley, CA for shows when I was young. High school in Reno. My first turntablist experience was in the Oakland Coliseum parking lot at 'Grateful Dead-Chinese New Years' show.
Finessin' the tables blew my mind. Hip-hop DJs are kings.
We started fogata films in 2012. Collecting vinyl over 40 years makes me a scholar and it helps with film making...both skills I taught myself.
